Job Overview

We’re hiring an AWS Practice General Manager to manage the AWS agency practice. In this role, you will be responsible for leading client engagements with AWS, primary owner of the ISV account relationships, growing sales pipeline, and team delivery.

What You Will Own

AWS + ISV Client Delivery:

  • Primary owner of Symbio’s relationships with a portfolio of AWS ISV accounts

  • Leading the day-to-day of an AWS alliances GTM practice

  • Overseeing client delivery and measuring project KPIs

Revenue & Pipeline Outcomes:

  • Growing sales pipeline among current and new clients

  • Expanding client account relationships among AWS stakeholders and ISV clients

  • Maintaining project and practice P&L

Practice Design & Strategy: 

  • Collaborate and evolve AWS partnership GTM services & deliverables

  • Ensure projects are appropriately staffed and completed on schedule

  • Maintain high quality assurance on project deliverables


Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years in the AWS ecosystem (ISV or AWS)

  • Strong client communication and project delivery skills

  • Deep understanding of how AWS co-selling works and AWS partner programs

  • Familiarity with the sales processes of ISVs and Cloud Service Providers

  • Previous experience in managing co-selling initiatives 

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previously worked at public cloud provider

  • Previous experience as direct manager with player / coach mindset

  • Work experience owning a P&L

  • Entrepreneurial experience and mindset of full accountability for outcomes
